The rings in the proof machined state undergo rigorous forging, rough machining, and 100% final dimensional inspection using calibrated instruments to ensure strict dimensional tolerance control within +2.0/-0.0 mm for outer diameter and wall thickness and +0.0/-2.0 mm for inner diameter.
For raised face flanges, specialized spiral sawtooth finishing tools are used to maintain a surface finish within the range of 125-250 μin AARH (3.2-6.3 μm Ra), and each workpiece is measured and verified using a surface roughness comparator and profilometer.
UNS N04400 is a nickel-copper alloy rather than a super duplex stainless steel, and therefore does not meet the PREN >40 and forced solution annealing conditions specified by SDSS products, we will still perform solution annealing at 870-980℃ according to standard procedures, followed by rapid water quenching, to ensure optimal corrosion resistance and microstructure stability.
